According to Marty McFly in the classic 1985 movie Back to the Future, “If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.”

Now that we live in the future, in a world where there is more information available at your fingertips than you could ever consume, at a time where it only takes a click to pick the brains of the most brilliant experts of our era, it can indeed seem like anything is possible. One just needs a bit of imagination and determination.

Why is it then that we struggle so much to accomplish our goals? That we start many projects but only finish a few, if any? That we spend so much time procrastinating instead of learning and creating?

And why do 92% of the people never achieve their goals while others seem to more easily manage to stick to their plan?

Because the Future Me Method is a mind disruption process in action, it changes our perspective about how we think. In fact it creates something even more powerful. We call that Authentic Identity. At its core, Authentic Identity results from a process that renews our mind which increases our mind health and agency. 

The Greek word for repent is metanoeo, which means “to change one’s mind”. This is a complete change of one’s mind and ways; a decision to completely turn around one’s thinking, believing or living.  

The Greek word metanoeo is a compound of the words meta and nous. The word meta in this context refers to a turn or a change. The word nous is the word for the mind, intellect, will, frame of thinking, opinion, or a general view of life. When the word meta and nous are compounded in the word repent,it portrays a decision to completely change the way one thinks, lives or behaves. Metanoeo reflects a turn, a change, a change of direction, a new course and a completely altered view of life and behavior.
